As many as 10 officers of Public Infrastructure and Facility Handling (PPSU) from Kelapa Gading Timur Urban Village, North Jakarta tore down the water channel cover on Jalan Puan Raya RW 13.

Head of Kelapa Gading Timur, Tulus Harjo disclosed the manhole cover as long as 100 meters has hampered officers to clean up the channel. Yet when it rains, the channel is often clogged thereby inhibiting water flow. This causes puddle on the road.

"We have warned the owner to do demolishment and build control a tub. But they ignore it, thus we had to do demolishment," he expressed, Friday (1/22).

"We have difficulties to demolish the cover using hammer, thus we borrow the breaker to make it faster. Afterwards, we then do dredging," he finished.
